B.A.S.E. helps teens transition successfully into adulthood and realize their academic potential while acquiring training and experience to compete in a tough job market. For juvenile offenders and dropouts, find a way to re-enter and engage as the authors of their lives growing into young adults who can contribute to their community and futures.

What is B.A.S.E.?

B.A.S.E. is a haven in the metropolitan New Orleans zone where underserved youth are enabled to take responsibility for quality and direction of their lives through projects in training, expressions, and prosperity and are propelled to have a significant effect in their group and the world.

What Should I Do to Encourage My Child To Have Success With B.A.S.E.?

To ensure that your child gets the most out of the B.A.S.E. experience, simply offer encouragement and support throughout the process. You will be assigned a staff contact who will support you as a parent, answer your questions about the program, and provide activities and materials to help you continue your child with the B.A.S.E. experience at home.

Is B.A.S.E. Successful?

Yes! 90% of B.A.S.E. students enter high school on-track, compared to an average of 70% of their peers!
